Saucy Chops

INGREDIENTS

5 Pork Chops (at least 1 inch thick)
1 Cup Chicken Broth
4 TBSP Butter (Divided)
1TBSP Honey

DRY RUB
1 TBSP Flour
1 TBSP Chipotle Chili Pepper Powder
1 TBSP Garlic Powder
1 TBSP Onion Powder
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Black Pepper

Sea Salt (to taste)
Parsley (Garnish)

DIRECTIONS

  1. Salt pork chops on both sides and let rest for 30 minutes.
  2. Mix flour, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and pepper in a small bowl.
  3. After chops have rested, dry them by patting on both sides with a paper towel. Apply dry rub to both sides.
  4. Heat 2 TBSP butter in large skillet. Cook chops on medium heat for 3-5 minutes on both sides. (Should have a nice, low and steady sizzle while cooking.) Remove and let rest on a plate.
  5. While chops rest, bring remaining butter, broth and honey to a simmer. Place chops back in skillet, spoon sauce over them, and simmer, covered, for 5 minutes. Remove skillet from heat and rest a few minutes.
  6. Spoon a little sauce on top and garnish with parsley when serving. Enjoy!

*Note: roasted gold potatoes and asparagus are awesome sides
