INGREDIENTS
5 Pork Chops (at least 1 inch thick)
1 Cup Chicken Broth
4 TBSP Butter (Divided)
1TBSP Honey
DRY RUB
1 TBSP Flour
1 TBSP Chipotle Chili Pepper Powder
1 TBSP Garlic Powder
1 TBSP Onion Powder
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Black Pepper
Sea Salt (to taste)
Parsley (Garnish)
DIRECTIONS
- Salt pork chops on both sides and let rest for 30 minutes.
- Mix flour, chili powder, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, and pepper in a small bowl.
- After chops have rested, dry them by patting on both sides with a paper towel. Apply dry rub to both sides.
- Heat 2 TBSP butter in large skillet. Cook chops on medium heat for 3-5 minutes on both sides. (Should have a nice, low and steady sizzle while cooking.) Remove and let rest on a plate.
- While chops rest, bring remaining butter, broth and honey to a simmer. Place chops back in skillet, spoon sauce over them, and simmer, covered, for 5 minutes. Remove skillet from heat and rest a few minutes.
- Spoon a little sauce on top and garnish with parsley when serving. Enjoy!
*Note: roasted gold potatoes and asparagus are awesome sides
