White Cheese Sauce

INGREDIENTS

3 Cups Whole Milk
6 TBSP Ranch Seasoning (Optional)
6 TBSP FLour
6 Cups Mozzarella Cheese (Shredded)
8 TBSP Salted Butter
12 oz Cream Cheese

DIRECTIONS

  1. Melt butter in a large sauce pan on medium-high heat.
  2. Stir in and melt cream cheese. Then, stir in and melt mozzarella. Continue stirring in milk, flour, and ranch seasoning (optional).
  3. Reduce heat and simmer about 20 minutes (stirring often), or until sauce is creamy. It will be thick (that’s a good thing). I use a handheld whisk for this part.
  4. Use sauce as desired.

*I used it in my chicken bacon ranch pasta instead of cooking it as normal. That dish is awesome either way! To add more flavor with this white sauce, I seasoned the shredded chicken with sea salt, garlic powder and onion powder.
