Fall is just around the corner, which means…chili!
INGREDIENTS
1 lb Ground Beef
1 Sweet Onion (Chopped)
3-4 Jalapenos (Sliced)
4 Cloves Garlic (Chopped)
1 Pint Pinto Beans
1 Qt Tomatoes (Diced)
1/2 Pint Tomatoe Sauce (8 oz)
1 TBSP Tomato Paste
3 TBSP Chili Powder
2 tsp Oregano
2 tsp Ground Coriander
1.5 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Cayenne
Sea Salt (To Taste)
Black Pepper (To Taste)
DIRECTIONS
- Combine dry seasonings in a bowl, and brown ground beef with half of the seasonings mixture. Toast vegetables and remaining seasonings (except tomatoes and beans) in same skillet.
- Combine everything in crock pot, and cook on low for at least 6-7 hours.
- Serve with shredded cheddar cheese, sour cream, and chives.
