Sweet Heat Chili

*Cook Time: 4 – 6 hours

INGREDIENTS

1 lb Ground Beef
1 Sweet Onion (Chopped)
2 Cloves Garlic (Minced)
Sea Salt & Pepper (to taste)
28 Oz Tomato Sauce
16 Oz Black Beans
16 Oz Red Kidney Beans
3 TBSP Chili Powder
2 TBSP Brown Sugar
1 tsp Paprika
1 tsp Sea Salt
1/2 tsp Garlic Powder
1/2 tsp Onion Powder
1/2 tsp Cumin
1/2 – 1 tsp Extra Hot Indian Chili Powder (I use Rani Brand)

DIRECTIONS

1. Sauté onion and garlic in a large skillet. Add ground beef and brown it.

2. Mix beef mixture and remaining ingredients in a slow cooker.

3. Cook on low 4 – 6 hours.

*Serve with shredded sharp cheddar cheese, sour cream and chives.
